“On the first day of camp, I was blown away by how well he was taken care of. I’ve never seen him so full of smiles and excitement. When I bring him, he always gets excited and hops right out of the car. Excitement overrides his way to open up the door to get in to see everyone. I’m beyond blessed with this organization. I feel at peace every time I enter the doors, and he does too!”
Hope WINS Collaborates with the ROE4 (Regional Office of Education) Hope WINS is honored to be contracting with ROE 4 as part of the Community Network Anchor Grant, an initiative from the Illinois Department of Public Health connected to the state’s Blueprint for Mental Health. Through this partnership, Hope WINS is helping strengthen regional collaboration so children, youth, and families experience clearer pathways to mental health, public health, and social supports. Linsey McDanel is serving as Project Manager and has been tasked with organizing and coordinating a broad network of partners across nine counties to identify gaps in services and work together to fill them. This work will include four regional convenings to share resources and needs, as well as the development of parent advisory boards throughout the region to ensure lived experience remains at the center of decision-making and system improvement.
