One of the most meaningful parts of MAC Camp is something we call MAC Camp Family Days. These special events bring our campers and their families together outside of camp hours to build relationships, strengthen connections, and create shared memories.

At Hope WINS, we believe children thrive when families feel supported and connected to a village. Family Days give parents and caregivers the opportunity to meet one another, laugh together, and experience the same sense of community their children feel at camp.

Recently, our village gathered at Pierce Athletics for an unforgettable evening of Battle Blasters, and it truly lived up to its name! Angela Pierce made sure our two hours were packed full of action—from target practice challenges to epic kids vs. parents battle wars. The laughter, friendly competition, and teamwork filled the gym as families dodged foam darts and cheered each other on.

It wasn’t just the kids having fun, parents were right in the middle of the action, proving that sometimes the best way to connect is simply to play together.

Events like this remind us that Hope WINS is more than a program, it’s a village. And this night at Battle Blasters? It was truly a blast.

Moments like these matter. When families connect, kids experience belonging, laughter, and support, exactly the kind of relationships that help young people grow stronger, healthier, and more confident.
