Hope WINS...What I Need to SucceedOur Journey and Vision
Hope WINS was founded from lived experience and the belief that families deserve connection, support, inclusion, and the opportunity to thrive. What began with people who saw a need in our community continues to grow into a village of families, staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners working together to create meaningful opportunities for children and families.
Hope WINS exists to educate and equip parents and children with the necessary tools for healthy relationships. As we grow, so does our vision for what is possible: more connection, more inclusive opportunities, more support for families, and more places where children and parents know they belong.
How You Can Get Involved
At Hope WINS, we believe meaningful change happens when a community chooses to show up.
There are many ways to be part of our village. You can volunteer, join our staff, serve on our Board, help with events or fundraisers, share your skills, make a donation, become a sponsor, attend community events, or simply help spread the word.
You don’t have to give a lot of time or money to make a difference. Sometimes showing up, sharing a post, giving a few hours, making a connection, or telling another family about Hope WINS is exactly what our village needs.
Board Members
Help guide the future of Hope WINS. Our Board Members bring their experience, ideas, connections, and passion for families to help strengthen our organization, expand our impact, and ensure Hope WINS continues growing responsibly and sustainably.
Hope Coaches (Ages 16+)
Hope Coaches help create the safe, inclusive, and welcoming experiences Hope WINS is known for. They are typically summer staff working approximately 40 hours per week during summer break, supporting children through MAC Camp while encouraging inclusion, friendships, independence, engagement, and fun.
Part time summer opportunities may also be available, along with opportunities to work no school day MAC Camp sessions, family activities, events, and other Hope WINS opportunities throughout the year.
Junior Hope Coaches (Ages 14 to 15)
Junior Hope Coaches step into meaningful leadership roles alongside Hope WINS staff. They assist with activities, mentor younger campers, model positive behavior, and help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment while building valuable leadership and teamwork skills.
MAC Camp tuition is waived for Junior Hope Coaches participating in this leadership opportunity.
Hope Coaches in Training (Ages 11 to 13)
Hope Coaches in Training get an early start in leadership and service by working alongside Hope WINS staff and Hope Coaches. They build confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and leadership skills while helping with activities and contributing to the MAC Camp community. Participants also receive documented volunteer service hours.
Volunteer Opportunities
There is no single way to volunteer with Hope WINS. Whether you have a few hours to give, want to help regularly, or have a specific talent to share, there is a place for you in our village.
Volunteer opportunities may include caregiving and childcare, family and community events, fundraisers, MAC Camp activities, outreach, setup and cleanup, serving meals, behind the scenes support, programming, entertainment, community engagement, the Hope WINS Collab, and serving on ongoing or ad hoc committees.
